The principle
The Consumer Mediation Service seeks solutions to disputes between a retailer and their customer. In this way, we hope to establish a lasting relationship between the two parties and avoid the need to go to court.
There are many advantages to using the CMS procedure:
- We are always impartial;
- We work very quickly (on average 60 days per case)
- We have extensive legal expertise
- We renew the dialogue between you and your customer;
- We restore confidence in your business;
- We have some useful data.
Taking part is profitable
Out-of-court dispute resolution is a right for all consumers. Taking part in a procedure means faster and better results for everyone!
In addition, the Consumer Mediation Service is not completely free of charge for companies. From the fifth case closed per year, a contribution of 100 euros (amount to be indexed) per case is required. From the twentieth case onwards, the fee doubles.
